The interior of the site creates a courtyard feel around the small central access road, which has been carefully designed to both enhance views while accessing the site and assist in reducing users speeds. The design of the individual houses reflect the village vernacular of a mix of materials including natural stone and reclaimed brick walls with natural slate and tiled roofs with traditionally designed dormers, together with detailing in the form of exposed rafter ends, arched window heads and either stone or brick quoin corner detailing.
