Bid & Framework Manager

We are seeking an ambitious, proactive and experienced Bid & Framework Manager to join our successful multi-disciplinary, architecture-led construction consultancy as our long-serving Bid Manager prepares for retirement. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry. The role can be based at any of our three studios, with a competitive remuneration package negotiable for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will:
support the current Bid Manager in leading and developing the bid team
identify and track relevant opportunities, including registering on portals and procurement platforms
manage the bid process from initial opportunity through to submission, coordinating resources and timescales
identify market trends, intelligence gaps and new framework opportunities
research, write and coordinate technical and non-technical bid submissions
collate, review and quality-check content from internal contributors
produce high-quality bid documents in line with client requirements
submit bids and framework applications accurately and on time
record, monitor and analyse bid performance, statistics and client feedback
maintain and update bid libraries, case studies, CVs and supporting collateral
The successful candidate will have:
a BA/BSc degree or equivalent
at least 5 years’ experience in a bid, framework or proposals role
excellent organisational and project management skills
excellent written and verbal communication skills
strong IT skills and confidence using bid portals and document systems
experience of public sector procurement
construction industry knowledge or experience (preferred)
