Bid & Framework Manager

We are seeking an ambitious, proactive and experienced Bid & Framework Manager to join our successful multi-disciplinary, architecture-led construction consultancy as our long-serving Bid Manager prepares for retirement. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry. The role can be based at any of our three studios, with a competitive remuneration package negotiable for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will:

  • support the current Bid Manager in leading and developing the bid team

  • identify and track relevant opportunities, including registering on portals and procurement platforms

  • manage the bid process from initial opportunity through to submission, coordinating resources and timescales

  • identify market trends, intelligence gaps and new framework opportunities

  • research, write and coordinate technical and non-technical bid submissions

  • collate, review and quality-check content from internal contributors

  • produce high-quality bid documents in line with client requirements

  • submit bids and framework applications accurately and on time

  • record, monitor and analyse bid performance, statistics and client feedback

  • maintain and update bid libraries, case studies, CVs and supporting collateral

The successful candidate will have:

  • a BA/BSc degree or equivalent

  • at least 5 years’ experience in a bid, framework or proposals role

  • excellent organisational and project management skills

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • strong IT skills and confidence using bid portals and document systems

  • experience of public sector procurement

  • construction industry knowledge or experience (preferred)
