Located in the Hertfordshire village of Sarratt, The Courtyard is a bespoke development comprising two contemporary homes. The design is heavily influenced by neighbouring barns and features dark wood window frames, brick plinth/black boarding cladding and a clay tile roof. To ensure the properties remained compatible with the height constraints of the area, the design specified the ground floors as partially subterranean, with bedrooms and ancillary rooms in the basement and living accommodation on ground floor.
