Administrator

Salary: £15k-21k (depending on experience)
Location: Birmingham
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time

We are currently recruiting for a full time Administrator to work in our Birmingham studio. You will be working with a team as their main Admin support as well as being part of the overall Practice Management team.

The candidate is responsible for…

  • managing emails and correspondence
  • organising and maintaining diaries
  • co-ordinating meetings including travel arrangements
  • reviewing and updating databases/project trackers and chasing documents
  • preparing documents, reports and presentations
  • liaising with clients, suppliers and staff
  • meeting and greeting visitors
  • note taking, typing, proof reading documents, filing, copying, scanning and printing
  • answering telephone calls and taking messages
  • other general administrative duties to support the team

The successful candidate is required to have:

  • excellent organisational skills and time management
  • ability to work on own initiative with a proactive outlook
  • ability to produce accurate work with attention to detail, spelling and grammar
  • excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, experience with Adobe InDesign is advantageous

Principal Designer (CDM 2015)

Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)
Location: Leicester
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time or part-time

We are currently recruiting for either a full-time or part-time experienced Principal Designer (CDM 2015) to act as Principal Designer/CDM Consultant/Client Advisor and work in our Leicester studio.

The successful candidate is required to have:

  • completed the management of pre-construction health & safety training
  • good organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate and obtain information, including site visits
  • excellent ability to communicate with clients, designers, principal contractors and other specialists on a project
  • good knowledge and understanding of Construction Design & Management 2015 regulations
  • knowledge and experience of undertaking risk assessments – finding solutions to eliminate/reduce/mitigate risks
  • knowledge of building regulations
  • knowledge of pre-construction, construction and post-construction stages
  • knowledge of the workplace and health and safety regulations
  • experience in the preparation of H&S files and pre-construction information
  • the initiative to work both independently and as part of a team
  • excellent time management skills
  • strong problem solving skills
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
